NEW Vendor Registry

Post Date:05/23/2017 9:16 PM

Okeechobee County is pleased to announce it has contracted with Vendor Registry for the maintenance of an automated vendor list for formal sealed bids. This list categorizes each vendor by commodity codes for the specific goods or services offered by the vendor. Businesses who have subscribed to our vendor list are notified by fax or e-mail whenever a formal sealed bid has been issued for the commodity or service offered by the vendor.

If you are a Vendor wanting to do business with Okeechobee County, we ask that you first register through the County's Vendor Registration System.  The registration process is FREE and takes just a few minutes to complete online.

To register,  you  may click the below link:

Or you can find the Vendor Registry located under the “Doing Business” or “I Want To” tabs.   Once there,  you will be led through the registration process using easy-to-follow instructions.

As a registered vendor, you will become part of the County's vendor data base allowing you to upload required documents in order to do business with us.  This data base may be used by all County departments to solicit bids. If you supply an e-mail address during the registration process, you will receive e-mail notifications of solicitations for commodities and services for which you are registered, whereby you should not ever miss a solicitation.  By utilizing this notification source, the County is able to reach countless vendors while saving valuable staff man-hours.
