Code Enforcement
Code Enforcement is responsible for ensuring public safety through administration of the County Code of Ordinances. Code Enforcement is an integral part of maintaining a safe and economically viable community. Staff is charged with answering citizen complaints, performing site investigations and inspections, and bringing non-compliant violators into compliance through self-compliance once violator understands the requirements of the code or a Special Magistrate if self-compliance isn’t met and fines begin to accrue.
