NOTICE:  SFWMD has advised that with Lake Okeechobee levels now at 12.5 feet, all five navigation locks on the north shore are returning to normal operations. These locks will be open daily from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. beginning on Saturday, July 15, 2017.

The Fire Rescue Administration and the Emergency Management offices operate out of this facility. The facility contains several meetings rooms and is used for classroom training sessions as well as serving as the Emergency Operations Center during large scale emergency incidents and Natural Disasters.

This facility serves the areas of Basswood, Dewberry Gardens, Lazy 7, Four Seasons Estates, Cypress Quarters, Spot in the Sun, and Platts Bluff. This station houses one Paramedic Engine, two Paramedic Ambulances and several auxiliary apparatus. The station is staffed on a 24 hour basis with 4 personnel. The logistic functions of uniforms, turnout gear, equipment and supplies are performed from this facility.

This facility serves the areas of Treasure Island, Taylor Creek, Taylor Creek Isles, Kings Bay, Pioneer Estates and Highway 78 to the Glades County Line.

The station houses one Paramedic Engine, one Paramedic Rescue, and other support apparatus. This facility serves the north end of the county including Country Hills Estates, Pine Creek, Indian Hammock, Fort Drum, The Prairie, Bassinger and Florida’s Turnpike. Fire-Rescue-Fleet-Services

FIRE RESCUE FLEET SERVICES

Maintenance and repair of all fire rescue vehicles are performed at this facility. Additionally, Fire Rescue Fleet Service performs the maintenance and repairs to all staff vehicles from the various departments under control of the County Administrator.
