The Okeechobee County 4-H Extension Program is, once again, excited to offer summer camps for the 2018 summer!
Schedule is as follows*:
Ag Camp: July 16-20
Ag camp will explore the agricultural industry through hands on learning. Participants will visit local dairy, beef, and citrus operations as well as cook local agricultural products and explore the natural resources of Okeechobee.
H20 Camp: June 4-8, June 11-15, July 23-27
H20 Encounter is an environmental day camp that explores various water resources in south Florida.
History Camp: June 18-22, July 8-13
Campers will visit South Florida historical sites and museums.
Horse Camp: June 25-29
Campers are provided riding and lesson time in the saddle. Campers experience horse activities geared toward developing riders. Campers bring their own horse and supplies.
Shooting Sports: July 9-13
Camp teaches conservation and ecology practices through field trips and hands on activities.
