FULL TIME
 

Senior Services Meal Site Coordinator – FT – $22,672
Responsible work in planning, organizing, and conducting all aspects of the nutrition, social, health and recreational programs for Seniors at the Lottie Raulerson Senior Center.
Requirements:
- Possess High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in social services and/or food service work preferred.
- Ability to achieve and maintain a good rapport with senior citizens, staff, 
   vendors, etc.
- Ability to maintain accurate records relative to the operation of the Senior 
   Center.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Valid Florida driver’s license with safe driving record.
- Ability to pass a Level II Background Check

Administrative Secretary – FT - $27,061 – Community Development/Planning Department
Performs duties of a staff assistant nature and participates directly in the work of the Planning Director.
Responsibilities:
Secures details of specialized information, coordinating office work and providing information regarding services and operations of the Planning Department.
Keeps appointment calendars and schedules appointments.
Attend Planning Board Meetings (one evening per month) and compose minutes from meeting.
Processes Land Use Application files.
Purchasing of supplies for the department.
Assists with preparation and management of budget.
Has the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the public.
Requirements:
Must have three (3) years’ work experience involving secretarial/clerical duties including the operation of a personal computer, keyboard or similar data entry equipment. HS/Equivalency required.
Requires a TABE test with a minimum score of 11.0 unless you have a Bachelor’s Degree in related field. If you have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher, please submit a copy of your degree with you application. TABE tests are good for two years and can be taken at Indian River State College.

PART TIME/SEASONAL

Office Assistant – Extension Office - $11.24 hourly part-time, 25-29 hours weekly
Clerical work involving answering phones, filing, data entry, etc. HS/equivalency required, 6 months general clerical experience preferred.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES A TABE TEST WITH A MINIMUM SCORE OF 11.0.

On-Call Agri Civic Center Event Operations Technician - $11.56 hourly
Event related, called in as needed.  Duties to include early morning openings, late night closing of venue facilities used by clients.  Turns on/off venue lights and power in electrical vault or parking lot.  Turns on/off water as needed for client use.  Supervises custodian and/or clean-up crews; install/dismantle labor for pre- and post-event service needs.  Operates county owned equipment (tractors, turf/soil equipment, water truck, etc.) as needed.  Knowledge of livestock a plus. Assists in other event operating areas as needed.
 

Lifeguard II - $11.24 hourly (Seasonal, part-time)
Responsible for the patrons at the Sports Complex Pool.  Must have current certifications in American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, First Aid, American Red Cross or American Heart Infant, Child and Adult CPR. 
Previous lifeguard experience is required.  Must furnish certifications with application.
 

Lifeguard I - $10.27 hourly (Seasonal, part-time)
Responsible for the patrons at the Sports Complex Pool.  Must have current certifications in American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, First Aid, American Red Cross or American Heart Infant, Child and Adult CPR.
Must furnish certifications with application.


Swim Teach Coach - $10.27 (Seasonal, part-time)
Responsible for coaching the summer age group Shockwaves swim team.  This is a summer position normally beginning in mid-May and ending the first week of August (approximately 13 weeks).  Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Certification and First Aid, American Red Cross or American Heart Infant, Child and Adult CPR required. Must furnish certifications with application.
