Commissioner Joey Hoover

      Joey Hoover was appointed by Governor Crist on March 16th, 2009.  Mr. Hoover was elected in November 2010. Commissioner Hoover is currently enrolled in the Florida Assiciation of Counties County Commissioner Certification Program.  He is the owner of Classic Asphalt Sealing & Striping, Inc.  Commissioner Hoover has previously served on the Planning Board, Construction Industry Licensing Board and the Affordable Housing Committee. 

      Commissioner Hoover represents Okeechobee County on the following Boards and Committees:

♦ Florida’s Heartland Rural Economic Development Initiative (FHREDI)
