The Cliff J. Betts Recreation Area, on the north shore of Lake Okeechobee, has a 400-foot fishing pier with a covered pavilion at the end providing vantage for scoping birds on the lake and the shore. This pier is also a popular fishing spot with benches and convenient restroom facilities at the entrance of the pier. The video above shows the pier and the beauty that surrounds it.
Family fun continues at Time To Escape this is an escape room which is a real-life escape encounter based on the electronic escape games. They are a fun team building experience for everyone involved! Upon entering the themed room of your choice, you and your team must work together to search for clues, find keys, locate combinations, and solve puzzles in order to solve the mystery and escape the room within 60 minutes. It is a THRILLING race against time, a puzzling scavenger hunt where the mission and sometimes the world is in your hands! Can you escape in time?
Of course you can escape, take a drive to Arnold's Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and escape to nature. Arnold's is home to approximately 300 permanent animal residents with over 1,000 animals coming through the gates each year. This sanctuary is a non profit education based wildlife care facility. Please place your donation in any of the donation boxes located throughout the center to help provide for these wonderful animals that need your help. Suggested donation of $10.00 per person.
